INSTRUCTORS: The training offered by Entertainment Fireworks, Inc. to
pyrotechnicians is among the best available anywhere. It is the most
comprehensive program of professional fireworks training offered in the
Western United States. Larry Mattingly, Vice President of
Sales, Marketing, Training, and, Ken Julian, Vice President of Operations,
have presented training seminars at the Pyrotechnic Guild International
and the Western Pyrotechnics Association, as well as groups of Fire
Service personnel, bomb techs, and pyrotechnicians across the Northwest.
Larry's 50 years in display and SPFX, and Ken's 15 year "chapter and
verse" knowledge of the regulations, provide a great opportunity to
learn.

Western Washington Spring Pyrotechnician Training:
There is a $12.00 fee for each class, at the door, (this includes Coffee/Donuts and a Catered Lunch)
All classes are on Saturday, Classes are from 9 AM - 3:00 PM
Class Times: 9 AM - 3:00 PM.
There is a $25 fee at the door (which includes Coffee/Donuts/Catered Lunch and materials) .

from North or Southbound I-5 - take Exit 95 (Littlerock/Maytown). Circle around underneath freeway then 1/3 mile to Reeder Road. Turn right (south) on Reeder Road one long block. Entertainment Fireworks is located in the big blue metal building on the west side of Reeder Road. Enter through the gate (Pyro Street) and park on the north side. Showcase Display - April 8, 2010 (Thursday)
All persons attending this years training seminar series are reminded of, and invited to attend our annual Showcase Display at Cheney Stadium in Tacoma. As in the past this is opening night for the Tacoma Rainiers Baseball Team. EFI will have a supply of tickets to the game for EFI clients, as well as pyro friends and families.
This display is our annual training display and will be set up and fired by trainees. EFI staff members and experienced pyrotechnicians will be on hand to supervise.

State of Oregon Operator Certification Training:
March 20, 2010 (Saturday): Fire Department at Tangent located at:

The session will start promptly at 9 AM and will conclude by 3pm. Lunch will be served (probably pizza!) and coffee service will be available. Lunch: $8.00 at the door. Attendees are asked to please be there on time to avoid the disruption of late arrivals.
We will also have a live fire shoot at a nearby site that evening.
This live fire display will give all a chance to hand fire and will qualify as one of the three required displays for licensing in Oregon.
